Type 1 Diabetes & Chronic Illness
Therapy for teens and adults living with T1D as well as for partners and caregivers of folks with auto-immune disorders.
Living with the ever-present effort of managing blood sugars and the real-time impact of simple daily choices can be exhausting. As a human living with T1D for several decades, I know this all too well. T1D can affect moods, relationships, and overall system capacity, putting what can feel like a tremendous pressure to do things “right.” In addition to personal experience with T1D, I have specialized training in the impact of auto-immune disorders on moods and overall system functioning, which allows me to better understand and help you navigate which challenges are best addressed through the body and which through the mind.
Find ways to more effectively navigate the unique physical, emotional, and relational impacts of living with T1D and address the impact of chronic illness/pain on moods, identity, and relationships.
